Well, it’s the beginning of September. The nights are getting a little longer and our thoughts start turning to the upcoming Pudsey Camera Club season.
The Pudsey Camera Club committee have been working on scheduling a varied and exciting programme of Thursday evenings. We have arranged of in-person and Zoom talks by respected photographers and our usual array of competitions judged by independent YPU-appointed judges where you can show off all those images you have been talking over the summer break.
Why Join Pudsey Camera Club?
Pudsey Camera Club is a friendly inclusive club and we welcome new and returning members with open arms and there are many benefits to being a member of a camera club.
Camera clubs are based on the idea of photographers getting together to share tips, techniques, and camaraderie stretches back to the early days of photography. There a 100’s across the country, 1000’s across the world, meaning that you can find one that is located local to you. Pudsey Camera Club is based at Pudsey Community Hub (formally known as Pudsey Library) so it the ideal photography club for those living in West Leeds Area (Bramley, Pudsey, Armley, Rodley, Farsley, Stanningley) and on the east side of Bradford,
Camera Clubs are known for competitions but if you’re new please don’t let that put you off. These are more about getting critique on your image than showing off. Pudsey Camera Club competitions are judged by YPU-appointed judges so you are getting an independent view. Pudsey Camera Club Competitions are an opportunity to grow as a photographer in a safe environment.
